Basis for processing personal data
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable living natural person. Individual pieces of information which, when combined, may lead to identifying a person also constitute personal data, for example an email address such as firstname.lastname@company.com, a device IP address, location data, and information collected through cookies and other similar technology.
The Administrator processes the personal data of users of the Service in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR).
-
Purposes of collecting personal data
The Administrator processes personal data provided by users of the Service solely for the purpose of providing electronic services consisting in making the content gathered in the Service available to users, such as direct marketing of its own products or services, preparing a response to a request for a quotation, or concluding specific service agreements.
Personal data may also be processed for analytical and statistical purposes (analysis of user activity and preferences). In some cases the Administrator uses data profiling. Through automated data processing, the Administrator evaluates selected information about natural persons in order to analyse their behaviour or to forecast their future behaviour.

Cookie policy
4.1. The website https://techmine.pl/ (the “Website”), administered by TechMine, uses cookies.
4.2. Cookies are small text files stored on a computer or mobile device which can be read by the given website (the administrator’s cookies) or by the systems of external services (third-party cookies).
4.3. Some cookies are deleted when the web browser session ends, i.e. when the browser is closed (session cookies). Other cookies are stored on the end device and make it possible to recognise the browser on the next visit to the Website (persistent cookies).
4.4. The legal basis for processing in the case of cookies necessary for the Website to work is the Administrator’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Analytics and marketing cookies are used only on the basis of the user’s consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
4.5. Some of the functions offered are available only if tracking technologies are used. Where the browser allows it, the user may reject tracking technologies, but this may affect the use of the Website. The user may encounter tracking technologies and cookies from external service providers that support various elements of the Administrator’s activities and services, for example Google Analytics and Meta Ads.
4.6. During a user’s first visit, the Website displays a banner with information about the use of cookies. The user may change the cookie collection settings at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the page footer, or delete these files after leaving the Website through the web browser. Disabling or restricting cookies may cause difficulties in using the Website.
4.7. First-party cookies are used to ensure that the Website works properly. The Website also uses functions provided by third parties. This involves the use of cookies originating from, among others, entities offering the following services:
a) Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses the User-ID feature, which makes it possible to link a persistent identifier of an individual user with data about their engagement from one or more sessions initiated on one or more devices.
b) Google Ads, provided by Google LLC. Google Ads helps draw attention to content and offers by means of advertising materials on external websites. Within Google Ads, data is analysed through advertising campaigns in order to optimise advertising activities.
c) Google Signals, provided by Google LLC. Google Signals is an extension of the Google Analytics services for web analytics purposes. Google Signals enables “cross-device tracking” (identifying users who use multiple devices). This means that where devices with internet access are linked to a Google account and the “personalised advertising” option has been activated, Google may generate reports on how the Website is used.
d) Meta Pixel, available as part of the Facebook service (Meta Platforms, Inc.). Through this cookie, advertisements are directed to the user on Meta services. Meta Pixel automatically collects information about the use of the Website in terms of the subpages viewed. The information collected through the pixel is anonymous and does not allow the user to be identified.
4.8. The Administrator also uses statistical analysis of traffic on the Website. The Administrator does not transfer this data to the operator of these services, only anonymised information. The Administrator uses remarketing advertisements, which make it possible to match advertising messages to a given user’s behaviour on the Website. The technological condition for such activities is that cookies are enabled.
4.9. The Administrator uses solutions that examine user behaviour by creating so-called heat maps and by tracking behaviour on the Website. This information is anonymised.
4.10. The Website uses mechanisms that automate its operation with regard to users, for example mechanisms that can send an email after a specific subpage has been visited.
4.11. Using the Website involves sending requests to the server on which the Website is stored. Each request sent to the server is recorded in the server logs. The logs include, among others, the IP address, the server date and time, and information about the web browser and operating system used by the user. The logs are recorded and stored on the server.
4.12. The data recorded in the server logs is not associated with specific persons using the Website and is not used by the Administrator to identify users. Server logs are used solely to administer the Website, and their content is not disclosed to anyone other than persons authorised to administer the server.
- Contact by email
The user may contact the Administrator by email: hello@techmine.pl. In doing so, the user provides the Administrator in particular with data such as their full name and email address. Other personal data may be provided to the Administrator voluntarily.
In that case, the legal basis for processing personal data is the user’s consent resulting from initiating contact with the Administrator. Personal data sent by email is processed solely in order to handle the enquiry. Correspondence is stored on the mailbox server and may be archived.
- Newsletter
Subscribing to the newsletter takes place by providing the email address of the user of the Service. Providing this data is voluntary but necessary in order to subscribe to the newsletter. Personal data collected for the purposes of the newsletter is processed in order to provide the newsletter service and to send marketing content, as well as for analytical and statistical activities, which consist in analysing user activity.
Data in the above scope will be processed only while the newsletter operates and is provided, unless the user unsubscribes earlier, which results in the data being deleted from the mailing database. The user may at any time request that the data be rectified or deleted from the database, thereby unsubscribing from the newsletter.
- Provisions on the processing of personal data
The Administrator stores the personal data of users of the Service only for the period necessary for the above purposes or for compliance with the requirements of applicable law. The user has the following rights relating to the processing of their personal data:
a) the right to information about the processing of personal data;
b) the right to obtain a copy of personal data;
c) the right to rectification of personal data;
d) the right to erasure of personal data;
e) the right to restriction of processing;
f) the right to personal data portability;
g) the right to object to the processing of personal data;
h) the right to withdraw consent if the data is processed on the basis of the user’s consent.
The rules for exercising the above rights are described in detail in particular in Articles 16-22 GDPR. The user may always ask the Administrator to provide information about the data it holds and the purposes for which it processes that data.
- Security of data processing
The Administrator states that the data is confidential. Data is collected with due care and appropriately protected against access by third parties. Personal data provided by users may be transferred only to trusted partners, subcontractors and entities cooperating with the Administrator, including in particular providers responsible for operating IT systems, as well as entities such as banks and payment operators, and entities providing accounting and marketing services.
All entities entrusted with the processing of personal data guarantee the use of appropriate measures to protect and secure this data. Because services of, among others, Google and Meta companies are used, data may be transferred to the USA. The level of personal data protection outside the European Union and the European Economic Area may differ from that ensured by European law.
Depending on the purpose of processing, personal data may be entrusted to:
a) Google LLC, for the use of the Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Signals services;
b) Meta Platforms, Inc., for the use of remarketing tools, including the ability to direct advertisements to persons from uploaded email databases.
